As for myself, I prefer to collect stamps. Letters which I received from overseas are one which I always look forward too. The stamps are the first which I aim for not the content of the letter. Post office issued first editions stamps are also a good choice for collectibles. Every year or on a anniversary of any big occasions, the port office will generally issue a limited first edition issue of stamps to commemorate the occasion.

They can either be sports celebrities, Movies celebrities or just about anyone who is famous. You can say that what their signature is in time, their autograph will become Autographed Art. Another place where one can find items worth collecting maybe at the flea market or garage sales. One person's junk can easily turn out to be another person's treasures. Do your research, decide what you want to pay for any particular item and stick to that budget. Otherwise you might end up getting carried away and find that at the end it's just a worthless piece of junk you bought.
